Dub Jones
Therapist Intern
I was drawn to counseling because I believe there's a difference between helping a person function and helping them heal. I worked for years in organizational psychology, and while I was good at it, I knew I was only ever reaching the surface and I wanted to do more meaningful work.
I am a curious, direct, and grounded counselor who works best with people who want to understand themselves, not just cope with what's happening. I look for patterns, ask the questions others might skip, and create a space where you don't have to pretend to have it together.
I work with adults and couples navigating life transitions, identity, relationships, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally inclusive, and comfortable exploring intimacy and relationships as part of holistic care. I also offer faith-based counseling when that is meaningful to you. If you've ever felt treated like a collection of symptoms rather than a whole person, you're exactly who I have in mind.
