Megan Griffith
Therapist Intern
Taking the step to seek counseling can feel overwhelming, but it’s also the beginning of a powerful journey toward healing and self-discovery. You’re here because you’re ready to explore new possibilities for growth, and that’s something worth celebrating. I’m Megan, and I’m here to support you every step of the way as you navigate this path toward a more fulfilled and balanced life.
I believe that in order to move forward, we often need to look back. Our past experiences shape how we see ourselves and the world around us, influencing our choices and the way we live today. By creating a safe space where you can explore these deeper layers of your subconscious, we can bring those hidden experiences to the surface, allowing you to pursue true healing and wholeness.
As a master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Colorado Christian University (CCU), I’ve spent the last year and a half immersing myself in the skills and knowledge needed to support individuals like you. I offer individual counseling primarily for adults and teens, drawing from Psychodynamic and Person-Centered theories to guide our work together.
My approach is collaborative and empowering—I’m here to encourage you to become the best version of yourself. This journey requires dedication from both of us, and I may ask you to apply tools outside of our sessions or reflect on what we’ve discussed. These practices are designed to help you reach your goals and embrace the freedom that comes with personal growth.
My goal is to support you in becoming more integrated, whole, and free from whatever is holding you back. Beyond my role as an intern, I lead an active lifestyle and find joy in the outdoors, the gym, and playing intramural sports. I also value spending quality time with family and friends.
Before pursuing Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I spent a decade in the IT industry. My own journey of self-discovery and internal work led me to this path, and it’s been deeply fulfilling. In addition to offering secular therapy, I provide faith-integrated therapy for those who wish to incorporate their spirituality into the healing process.
