Seeking support for mental health can feel like a difficult and vulnerable step. I believe that one of the most important parts of therapy is finding a clinician who meets you where you are, creates a safe and welcoming environment, and walks alongside you with compassion and encouragement.

You are the expert on your own life, and I would be honored to support you on your journey.

At RAFT Counseling, I work with children ages 6+, teens, and young adults. I like to connect in-person but can offer virtual appointments when needed. Whether you are seeking help for yourself or for your child, my goal is to provide practical tools and meaningful support to help ease the stressors you are facing. I view therapy as a collaborative process built on trust and connection. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to engage in growth at your own pace. My role is to support and encourage you while helping you build the skills and confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and clarity. My experience includes working with anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping clients understand their strengths and regain a sense of control and purpose in their lives.

My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is effective for a wide range of concerns. I value CBT because it helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, behaviors, and creates coping strategies. I also integrate techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and create clear direction in therapy. When requested, I am also open to incorporating a spiritual perspective into the therapeutic process to honor each client’s personal values and beliefs.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Becoming a therapist has been a long-held goal of mine, and I feel grateful to be part of a profession dedicated to healing and growth. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, being with my dogs, playing board or virtual games, and relaxing with movies and shows. I recognize that every mental health journey is unique, and no two paths look the same. I would be honored to partner with you here at RAFT Counseling as you move toward the life you hope to build.

On RAFT's tiered private pay rate table, Rebecca is a Level 1 therapist. Se works under the supervision of Sharon Davis, LPC, ACS and Amanda Turecek, LMFT, LAC.
