Taking the first step toward improving your mental health is something to be proud of, and I’m excited to walk alongside you on this path. My goal is to help you develop the skills and insights needed to not only manage life’s difficulties but to thrive—to feel empowered, valued, and whole.
I believe that every person has inherent value and the potential for incredible growth and positive change. In our work together, I’ll provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals for the future. My approach is collaborative and client-centered—I’m here to support you in leading your therapy journey, with techniques tailored to your unique needs, culture, and goals.
With a foundation in person-centered therapy, I also integrate tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused therapy, and a strengths-based approach. We’ll decide together which methods resonate with you and will help you achieve the positive changes you seek. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a focus on trauma from Grand Canyon University. Additionally, I’m a certified Equine-Assisted Mental Health practitioner through DU’s Institute for Human-Animal Connection.
