Shatonya Mason, LPC, ADDC
Therapist
You’ve been carrying the weight of anxiety, addiction, or trauma for far too long, and it feels like no one really sees or understands the depth of your struggles. You’re not just looking for someone to listen—you need someone who gets it, who respects your experiences, and who can offer real, meaningful support. That’s where I come in.
I’m Shatonya Mason, a dedicated therapist with a passion for guiding people like you—those who feel isolated in their challenges and are ready to find a way forward. My approach is deeply rooted in cultural competence and LGBTQ+ inclusion, ensuring that every aspect of who you are is honored in our work together.
You don’t have to go through this alone. With years of experience in mental health-related fields, I’ve seen the incredible resilience of people navigating the most challenging circumstances. Your story, your struggles—they matter. And I’m here to offer you the tailored guidance and support you need to unravel the past, confront present challenges, and create a future filled with strength and hope.
Whether you’re a teen or an adult, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll embark on a journey that prioritizes your well-being through trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices. My approach is versatile, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques to create a comprehensive healing experience that’s just right for you.
You can choose the setting that feels most comfortable—whether that’s the convenience of teletherapy or the familiarity of in-office sessions. No matter where we meet, I’m committed to providing a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Adams State University, where I became a member of Chi Sigma Iota, reflecting my dedication to ongoing professional growth.
The honor of hearing your story is something I deeply value. I’m genuinely eager to meet you, listen to your experiences, and work together toward a more resilient and healthier you. Let’s take this step forward—together.
