Vesla Regan
Therapist Intern
My aim is to partner with you in exploring and developing strategies and solutions that are in line with your values and beliefs, and which allow you to make changes and grow in ways that best serve you and your sense of well-being. Navigating life’s challenges and transitions can be complicated and overwhelming, particularly when our intentions fall short, plans are derailed, or circumstances change unexpectedly. As your advocate and partner, I will collaborate with you to identify, access, and enhance your unique strengths, resources, experiences, and wisdom, so as to empower you to be the author of your own life story.
As a graduate student working toward my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have spent the better part of the last two years in intensive study on relational dynamics. In joining the RAFT team, I am honored by the opportunity to learn from a group of practiced professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience in various disciplines. With the support and guidance of the RAFT team, I am thrilled to further enhance my therapeutic skills and assist clients in taking steps toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I embrace the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families interested in approaching various challenges from a relational perspective, with a specific focus on adolescents and blended family segments and/or populations. Interpersonal dynamics, particularly those that are emotionally charged, can be complex and intense, at times seemingly beyond our ability to improve or remedy. I believe that people are best poised for positive change when the status quo is more painful or problematic than the process of change, thereby paving a pathway to an improved circumstance. My objective is to provide a safe space, free from judgement and criticism, in which to collaboratively explore and implement strategies and solutions most appropriate to your life and sense of well-being.
