Has your teen completely shut you out and you’re worried? Is he struggling with the many transitions between in school and remote learning? Is she struggling with her confidence and feeling alone? Or maybe you’re in the middle of a lot of changes and looking for support? We can walk through the chaos together.
Working with me you can expect to be supported and challenged through tough transitions. I offer a culturally competent approach, and multiple practice strategies, all within a safe space to share. Kids, teens, and young adults often appreciate having the space to be real and transparent with someone outside of family and friends. I love to utilize games, toys, and activities that create connection and build empowerment. I have always had a passion for working with young people. I have a strong belief that given the appropriate tools and support, each child can and deserves to succeed. Transitions through middle school, high school and young adulthood comes with many challenges and I love to partner with kids and teens in finding ways to live boldly, authentically, and with confidence.
My work spans from early childhood social skills and trauma work through teenage and young adult behavioral and academic support. I spent several years working specifically with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. I have worked in a variety of settings including public and private schools, community mental health centers, nonprofit academic enrichment programs, and private practice.
Becoming a mother to two children, I have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for what parents want for their children. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my husband and daughter, which typically means hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter! I grew up primarily in Evergreen, but moved around a bit, both within the state and around the country. My experiences living in different places also fuel my passion for traveling.
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I offer teletherapy for clients within Colorado and office appointments for children, teens, and adults in Parker, CO.

I enjoy collaborating with therapists in strengthening their work with individual and families utilizing strengths based and solution focused modalities. I have extensive experience around trauma and crisis work and excel at building on the work of our experienced therapists. I graduated from the University of Denver with my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in family studies and trauma and obtained my LCSW in 2012. I have been providing clinical supervision for the past 3 years to master level clinicians.
After obtaining my MSW in 2010 I worked for 4 years with the Department of Human Services as a caseworker specifically working with juvenile sex offenders and sex abuse victims. I also have history of working in the inpatient behavioral health hospital setting completing level of care assessments and managing crisis in the form of suicidality and psychosis. I also have experience working in the community mental health setting completing evaluations for DHS, CYMHTA (Child Youth, Mental Health Treatment Act) and hospital step down assessments. I am very passionate about working in the mental health field, specifically those who are struggling with severe and persistent mental illness and those struggling with ongoing suicidality.
I look forward to collaborating with supervisees in offering the best possible therapy to individual and families in our community. I offer clinical supervision to clinicians working towards their LPC, LCSW and LMFT in the state of Colorado.
Director of Administrative Services
You may connect with me when scheduling and following up with any questions about billing and insurance. While our experienced counselors target anxiety and trauma, and a safe space to heal; I am often behind the scenes updating paperwork, processing claims, and helping with any scheduling needs.
While my background is not grounded in mental health, I have developed a solid appreciation for the health and wellness benefits that come with connecting with others. While we are taking care of the administrative paperwork I also welcome the opportunity to connect with you about cars, agriculture, and sports. I am appreciative of the opportunity to serve the community of Colorado and support you in accessing care, and understanding your mental healthcare insurance benefits.
