Therapist

Do you feel overwhelmed by life’s demands, weighed down by anxiety, or stuck in patterns that seem impossible to change? Maybe you’re navigating stress in your family, work, or personal life, leaving you feeling uncertain about your next steps. Therapy can provide a space to sort through the noise, gain clarity, and build confidence to manage life’s challenges.

I’m here to help. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, whether through reflection or even humor and sarcasm. Therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy—if humor is how you process, we can embrace that while still making meaningful progress. I value open and honest communication, and I welcome the opportunity for dialogue, whether you’re sharing deeply or challenging a perspective. I believe these conversations are an essential part of the therapeutic process.

Therapy with me is a partnership. I’m here to guide and support, but I also believe in empowering you to take the lead in your healing journey, ensuring the process feels right for you. While we’ll take time to explore your experiences, I will also focus on equipping you with practical tools and strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and life’s complexities.

I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including those navigating neurodivergence or managing ongoing medical challenges. I value the unique strengths and perspectives each person brings to therapy and strive to create a space where everyone feels understood and supported. Whether you’re in adolescence, early adulthood, or beyond, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and goals.

At RAFT Counseling, I work with individual adults, teens, and children 10 + through in-office and telehealth sessions for convenience and accessibility. My approach integrates Person-Centered and Adlerian Therapy with practical techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we’ll focus on building self-awareness, enhancing coping skills, and finding solutions that fit your life. You already have the strength within you to overcome these challenges. Let’s work together to help you discover it.

On RAFT's tiered private pay rate table, Spencer is a Level 1 therapist. He works under the supervision of Sharon Davis, LPC and Amanda Turecek, LMFT, LAC.
